Untested
#1 Get all 150 Pokemon without a game shark/genie
#2 Get every single item in Seafom Island. There's even a hidden
excape rope neer Articuno that you need to get.
#3 Than use the escape rope you just found. The last place you
had to be was in Cinnabar.
#4 Than you have to release all the stones that you have on you.
You have to had a Thunder stone.
#5 Than go back to Seafom Island caves. Use your item finder and
you should find it.
Get The Rainbow Stone: Untested
1. Go to the Seafoam Islands, with a Hitmonchan
2. Use the Item Finder 100 times in all different spots
3. Once you have done that, go to exactly where Articuno stood,
and use the itemfinder!!
4. You should find an item, it's called Rainbow!
5. Use this on Hitmonchan, he should turn into Houou!
Getting level 100 and over Pokemon: Tested
Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you
are in a hurry, answer "No". After he explains how to
catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island. SURF on the side of
Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands. In addition to the
Missingno Pokemon, regular Pokemon over level100 will be
encountered. Note: After any Pokemon over level 100 gains any
experience points, it will drop to level 100.
Togepy Code: Untested
#1 Have all 150 Pokemon without a game shark/genie!!!
#2 Beat the first 3 of the Elite 4 and save the game. Than turn
the game boy off than on.
#3 Beat Lance and your Rival and sit through the credits. After
the credits go to your house.
#4 Your mom should be on the table! Go upstairs and she should be
on your bed! There will also be a little Pokemon running around!
#5 She'll tell you to keep it and take good care of it as long as
it doesn't come in the house again.
Catch pokemon outside of safari zone: Tested
When you go in the Safari Zone don't go anywhere just come out
imediatly. Than fly to Cinnabar and surf on the east shore in
half land half water.
Pikablu Code: Untested
Ok this is the official Pikablu code! I hope you all enjoy it!
#1 Catch all 150 Pokemon without using a game shark/genie.
#2 Have 17 of your Pokemon over lvl 70.
#3 After that's done go to Pewter city and talk to the guy who
asks you if you've been to the museum yet. Say no so he takes you
to the door.
#4 Go in the museum and go upstairs and talk to the lady who says
" I want my boyfriend to catch me a Pikachu! "
#5 After you talk to her go imediatly out of the museum. When you
get out don't move in any direction. Imediatly use fly and go to
Celedon city.
#6 Go into the game cornner and talk to the lady who says "
Go next door to get great prizes!"
#7 But this time she'll say, " Hey, you have all the badges?
Wow! Well then since you where nice enogh to talk to me. I will
give you this pokemon I found stranded behind the museum. He is
so strong I can't controll him. But since you have all the badges
you take him!"
#8 It will say you got ??????? Than if you try to use it it will
ge just like pressing cancel. Than go talk to Prof. Oak and it
will say you deliverd Oak's Parcell.
#9 Than go into your Pokemon line and put a Pokemon you don't
mind loosing in the first slot. It will still be called ???????
but go to the Nickname guy and change it to Pikablu.
#10 He's at level 999 and yes he appers in your Pokedex! He's
number 154.
Go on Cycling Road without a bicycle: Untested
Walk up as far as you can in the building to Cycling Road. Walk
forward and the guard will say that you cannot go on cycling road
without a bicycle. While he is saying that, hold Left and quickly
press B several times until you are across from the guard. Note:
If you already have a bike and you want to try this trick,
deposit your bike in a computer.
Unlimited of any item: Tested
Once you get to Cinnabar Island, fly to Veridian City and talk to
the
man who shows you how catch pokemon. Then fly back to Cinnabar
island
and surf up and down the right side of the island (half land/half
water). Put the item you want unlimited in the sixth position.
Then
when you are surfing up and down the side of the island you will
fight
pokemon over level 100. Every once in a while you will find a
pokemon
called Missingno or 'M. When you find them just run away and the
sixth
item in your list will have a funky sign in front of it meaning
it is
temporarily unlimited. You can do this as many times as you want!
Yoshi: Tested
You must have both versions of pokemon to work this code, each
game
must already have at least 150 pokemon and a firestone.
1) Have the red version of pokemon get a Dratini and trade it to
a blue
pokemon game
2) Then on the blue game evolve the Dratini to a Dragonite
3) Then have the blue version trade the Dragonite back to the red
version of pokemon
4) On the red version game go to the unknown dungeon and surf
where you
got Mewtwo
5) Use a firestone on the Dragonite and it will evolve into Yoshi
(#999)
When you try to use the firestone it will say that it is not
compatible
but it is.
Missingno Pokemon: Tested
The U.S. version of the game contains the following glitch
Pokemon, which is obtained by using these steps. Go to Cinnabar
Island. Enter into the building where the man makes Pokemon out
of fossils. Enter the first room in the building with people that
want to trade Pokemon. Trade with one of these people; it does
not matter which one. Go back outside and move to the far right
side of the building. Then, SURF up and down the side of the
island while half on land and half in the water. Keep surfing
until challenged by a glitch that resembles a microchip or
barcode. He is part bird and part water type and starts on level
80. Note: Obtaining Missingno can keep the game from continuing
correctly, including preventing linked battles, and other bad
effects. It is recommended that Missingno be released unless you
are just experimenting with the game.
Pokemon "M": Tested
Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you
are in a hurry, answer "No". After he explains how to
catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island. SURF on the side of
Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands to find the Pokemon
"M". You may also find level 132 Mewtwos and Alakazams.
Note: Obtaining M can keep the game from continuing correctly,
including preventing linked battles, and other bad effects. It is
recommended that M be released unless you are just experimenting
with the game.
More than one rare candy item slot (Blue version): Untested
Note: This code requires six badges, FLY, CUT, SURF, and may only
be done after the Elite 4 are defeated. Use the "Unlimited
items" trick for "Rare Candys". Then, fly to
Cerulean City and go to the end of the Nugget Bridge. Turn left
to where there is a long strip of grassy area bordered by water.
Then, SURF through the water path to the hidden dungeon. Fight
various Pokemon and find a Rare Candy, then save the game. Turn
off the game, then load the previously saved game. Tight another
Pokemon or two, then press Start, go to items, two slots of Rare
Candys should appear. Note: This trick may not work every time,
and may also be done on Victory Road.
Duplicate Pokemon: Tested
This cheat allows you to duplicate a pokemon. Before you trade
make
sure the pokemon you are trading doesn't have an HM because when
you
perform the cheat the pokemon with the HM may screw up your ROM.
Also
this code works with both American versions.
1) Have one game select a powerful pokemon
2) Have the other game select a weak pokemon
3) Have the start to trade
4) When it first says waiting have the game with the powerful
pokemon
shut off their game
5) Then have the other game shut off their game
6) The weak pokemon will be erased and the strong pokemon will be
on
both games
Clefable: Untested
To get this Pokemon, go to the top of Viridian City. Go to the
old man and answer "No". Watch him catch a Weedle via a
Pokeball. Then, Fly to Fuchsia City. SURF to Seafoam Islands and
SURF up and down (while in the water) until Clefable appears. It
should be at level 137.
Sandslash: Untested
To get this Pokemon, go to the top of Viridian City. Go to the
old man and answer "No". Watch him catch a Weedle via a
Pokeball. Then, Fly to Fuchsia City. SURF to Seafoam Islands and
SURF up and down (while in the water) until Sandslash appears. It
should be at level 27 or 37.
Change color scheme (Blue version): Untested
Use the following trick when playing the game on a Game Boy Color.
Press Down + B + Select (as can be done with any classic Game Boy
Game) to change the color scheme to match that found normally in
the Red version of the game. Note: This does not change anything
in the game except its appearance
Glitch: Longer life: Untested
Find a Pokemon over level 100, and use rare candies until it
reaches level 255. Store it in Bill's PC, and take it out later.
The game will show that it has gone down some levels but has 999/437
life. It's life is now twice as long as normal. Note: This may
work better with Snorlax.
Pokemon Yellow Codes
In-game reset: Untested
Hold Select + Start + B + A during game play to restart
Pikachu surfing mini-game: Tested
Note: The Pokémon Stadium game on the Nintendo 64 is required
for this trick. Successfully complete the tournament mode on Pokémon
Stadium without using any rented Pokémon. Transfer Pikachu to
the Pokemon: Yellow Edition cartridge to play the Pikachu surfing
mini-game.
Another method is to trade Pikachu to a Red version of the game.
Use the GameShark code on that version of the game to teach
Pikachu Surf. Then, trade Pikachu back to the Yellow version.
Travel to the Surfing Guru south of Fuchia City and talk to him.
Surfing super stunt: Tested
When surfing with Pika, do your tricks till the very end of the
course, then on the last wave (the biggest one), do one backflip
and two frontflips. You should receive 500 points for this. Note:
This difficult, but not impossible.
Pikachu Codes: Untested
Go to any cliff and jump down but let Pikachu stay on the top
layer. Wait about five seconds until he starts to bounce around
and walk in place. Then, jump down and walk in a straight line.
Pikachu will slide in place behind you. This does will not cause
any problems with the game. The game will return to normal after
you turn in another direction.
To see Pikachu with a bucket on his head, encounter a fish
Pokemon with a rod. Afterwards, immidiately speak to Pikachu. He
should have a bucket on his head
To see Pikachu do a peace sign, simply capture a Pokemon, then
immediately speak to Pikachu
To see Pikachu with a scared face, go to Lavender Town. go into
Pokemon Tower, and talk to Pikachu.
Choose Gary's Eevee's evolutions: Tested
You can choose Gary's Eevee's evolution by how you do in battles
with Gary's Eevee. To get Vaporeon simply lose the first battle
with Gary in Oak's Lab after you deliver Oak's Parcel. Then, win
the battle near Viridian City on the route to the Pokemon League.
To get Flareon, win the match with Gary at Oak's lab, then lose
any of the other matches, except for any of them past Silph Co.
To get Jolteon, win all of the matches.
Level 100 Pokemon: Untested
This trick requires a link cable and the Red/Blue version. Go to
a Pokecenter and trade one of your Pokemon to the Red/Blue
version. Make sure you have 99 of any item in Red/Blue version.
Make that Pokemon in Red/blue version to level 100 and trade it
back to the Yellow version. Note: This trick requires a lot time,
but is worth it.
Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow Codes
Remain in secret room: Tested
Note: This trick requires a link cable. Link to another Game Boy
and begin the game in the Pokemon Center. Go the secret room and
remove the link cable. You and your friend can still play in the
secret room.
Casino Cheats: Tested
If you walk around the casino, go behind someone and press A. If
you are facing the right direction, you can get some coins, up to
200 this way. Note: The direction to face is down. Nothing else
works.
Hitting Opponent Harder: Tested
To hit Opponent really hard, do as followed:
1. Go into a battle, of course
2. Press B as you attack
Fish in the statues: Tested
This one is pretty easy. First you go to a statue and use the
good rod or any other rod. And presto you're fishing in a statue.
And I've caught rare water Pokemon doing this.
Master ball trick: Untested
When throwing any Pokeball just hold up and a or b
Phantom PC: Tested
Go to Celadon City and go to the Hotel. Then go right, all the
way the
wall then go to the middle square and face up like you were in a
poke
center and you were logging onto the PC then press "a"
and it will say
"Ash(or the name you chose) turned on PC". Also you can
access
everything like it was a real PC. It's basically an invisible PC.
Man on Top of The Building: Tested
Step to the right of the door at the gym where you get the
Volcano Badge. You should be on the edge of the water. Use Lapras
or another Pokemon to SURF out into the water. Then, come back in
and go to the door. The game will say that the door is locked.
Look on the roof to find an old man.
Teleporting old man: Tested
This trick is similar to the old man on roof trick. Go into
Celadon City. Store your bike on the PC, then go to the building
that leads to Cycling Road. When you try to go past the guard, he
will tell you that no pedestrians are allowed on Cycling Road.
While he is telling you this, look at the wall behind him. The
old man will be on top of the wall. When you move back by one
little square, go down toward the stairs and try to get past the
guard again. He will tell you the same thing again, and this time
the old man will be a little to your left.
Stand on a tree: Tested
If you have a Pokemon that knows CUT (TM 01), cut down a tree,
stand on the place where the tree was cut down, save the game,
and turn it off. Turn the game back on, select "Continue"
and press A when the game starts. Your character should be on a

them. Immeditly fly to Vermillon and then go to the SS.anne the
surf to your right and the truck wont be standing there any more
there will be steps over there walk into those steaps and you
will be on the other side of Pallet you will see Venusars
Charizards blastiose and Charclots and Pikablus and one mew that
is really hard to find you will be timed like you are timed in
the Safari Zone 500/500 so use it wisley because once you get In
you wont be able to never get In.
